Jupiter Axis is a Tanzania based company building the systems that move money and the systems that keep it accountable starting with payments and financial governance.
Jupiter Axis was founded to close a gap we kept running into ourselves: the systems businesses in Tanzania depend on to move and account for money are fragmented, manual, or borrowed from markets that don't share our regulatory reality. We build the alternative starting with payments, and extending into financial governance.
To make moving and accounting for money radically more affordable and accessible across Africa closing the gap between the financial infrastructure institutions need and what currently exists.
A future where any business of mobile money agent, anywhere in Africa, can send, receive, and account for money as easily as sending a text message and where that same standard of financial infrastructure reaches institutions worldwide.
Every project under Jupiter Axis is designed around the regulatory reality it operates in, not around it licensing, auditability and data integrity are part of the architecture from day one, not features added later.

Building Jupiter Axis started from a direct realization: the financial infrastructure most of the world takes for granted simply doesn't reach far enough in Africa. Not because the problem is unsolvable, but because existing systems weren't built for our local reality.
Tanzania and Africa more broadly doesn't need to wait for infrastructure built elsewhere to trickle down. We can build it ourselves, for the realities we actually live in.
